The Hartpury Festival of Dressage 2017 has been greatly successful for all once again. The show held an array of dressage competitions on three arenas, featuring some of the top dressage riders. Hartpury College is a world class competition venue, holding over 60 competitions throughout the year from unaffiliated shows to national finals and FEI competitions. Hartpury have our ProWax Competition surface in all the arenas, ProWax has been specifically designed to cope with the high demands of competition centres and a large amount of use in the arenas.

The recently extended Cove arena, was used throughout the show for the warm up. The extra width on the arena made it more spacious for the riders working in and received some great comments! Alongside the build we were delighted to be at our first show since the second year of being the official surface supplier for British Dressage.

The show saw some phenomenal tests ridden in all the arenas, with Lara Butler taking the win with Kristjan gaining 78.625% in our sponsored class the Andrews Bowen FEI CDI Intermediate I Freestyle, held in the international outdoor arena.

Sara Gallop of Summerhouse Equestrian Centre had two great rides in the LeMieux FEI Grand Prix, winning the summerhouse Zelham and also placing third with Summerhouse Bandreo, scoring 68.44% and 66.08% respectively. Sara trains at home at Summerhouse Equestrian Centre, which has our Andrews Bowen Prowax surface installed.

It was also a delight to watch Charlie and Abi Huttons demonstration in the Gala evening performance, following a successful show! Charlie and Abi train on our Propell surface at Judy Peploe’s facilities.
