ProWax High Temperature at Al Shaqab Jumps Into 16 years!

What an unbelievable season of jumping so far at Al Shaqab, Qatar’s premier equestrian facility.

When absolutely only the very best is good enough, Al Shaqab chose the ProWax High Temperature Competition surface to host their high-profile Doha Equistrian Tour ’26.

A relationship that is entering its 16th year from when we first provided their competition footing, an all-new ProWax High Temperature surface was supplied last year, and our team flew out to oversee the install and ensure the usual Andrews Bowen exemplary standard. Designed specifically by our developments team for warmer climates, our High Temperature wax surfaces are tested to the very highest level for consistency, durability and performance in such temperatures.

Our testing programme for our High Temperature wax surfaces extends far beyond our arena surfaces and has also been rigorously analysed within the gallop footings for racing.  The surfaces are specifically designed to provide high performance for sustained periods in warmer climates, where a standard arena wax surface would deteriorate rapidly and be completely unsuitable.

We have had a number of clients jumping at Al Shaqab on the ProWax surface over the last few weeks and what an incredibly successful setting it has provided those world class riders and horses with wins across the 5*, 3* and 1* classes.
