Al Shaqab Equestrian Complex in Qatar hosts one of its biggest shows this week on its Andrews Bowen surfaces and facilities will be thouroughly put through their paces!

Welcome to CHI AL SHAQAB 2015! Witness excellent showmanship and brilliant equestrian disciplines and skills manifested in a unique six-day event of Jumping, Dressage, Para-Dressage, Endurance and Vaulting; where national and international horses and riders will take their chance for an event of a lifetime.

With jumping entering the schedule at CHI AL SHAQAB 2015 the prestigious Peninsula event in Doha is picking up speed.

Germany’s current World Cup holder Daniel Deusser was the fastest, taking 23,000 Euro out of the jumping purse for winning the 1,50 meter class on Espyrante in a jump-off. European champion Marco Kutscher took the 1,50 class against the clock, winning with Van Gogh. The 3-star tour celebrated Qatar’s Abdul Raman Mohammed Al Marri with Sidoline van de Centaur and Ali Al Khorafi for Kuwait, riding Ungarin. The vaulting discipline closed with spectacular freestyle performances for a total prize money of 60,000 Euro and the para equestrian dressage riders prepared their horses for Thursday’s premiere of their discipline in Asia.

Good luck to all the team at Al Shaqab from all at Andrews Bowen.
